Effective space analysis and allocation techniques

The project's aims are:

  • to develop a rationale and a currency for space allocation for teaching, research, administration and other uses
  • to tackle cultural issues surrounding property use through policy and procedural change
  • to radically improve the utilisation of the estate, thus adding value
  • to help accommodate planned growth in academic activities and student numbers
  • to develop a method for constant updating of space data records
  • to provide best practice guidelines on space management for the HE sector.
