The project's aims are:

to develop a rationale and a currency for space allocation for teaching, research, administration and other uses
to tackle cultural issues surrounding property use through policy and procedural change
to radically improve the utilisation of the estate, thus adding value
to help accommodate planned growth in academic activities and student numbers
to develop a method for constant updating of space data records
to provide best practice guidelines on space management for the HE sector.
