Programme management and benefits recovery: development of a best practice guide

Project reference : LGMF-210

Lead institution : University of Wolverhampton

This project reviewed best practice from commercial and public sector sources to create guidance on integrated project and/or programme management.

The guidance described ways to align project selection, prioritisation, delivery, completion and feedback with the overarching strategic plans of the higher education institution and wider sector requirements.  It also:

  • determined the impact of the guide through questions in AUDE's tool for self-assessing institutional approaches to capital investment
  • developed training modules to share good practice.

The project was completed in January 2012.  The guide is available for download.

Total funding : £56,500
