Project reference : GMP-273
Lead institution : Nottingham Trent University
Publicly funded higher education institutions share similar resource and funding issues. The project proposes to establish an East Midlands Study Group comprising The University of Nottingham, Loughborough University and The Nottingham Trent University.
The study group aims to better understand space utilisation and allocation issues across the universities. It will seek to implement SpaceMAP software, which has been developed to allow universities to come to a complex understanding of the relationship between the use of resources and programme activity.
The project will also link to research into effective space management by the Newcastle University.
Total funding : £175,000
