Project reference : LGMF-134
Lead institution : Birmingham City University
The project built on an audit of the sector, published in 2002, and was intended to identify the prevalence of flexible working across the HE sector, to show how extensively it is used, and how institutions have embedded the principles internally. Taking account of recent legislation, it was anticipated that the study, which reported in 2009, would identify barriers to extending flexible working and thus help to increase the availability and accessibility of various forms of flexible working.
Total funding : £75,000
