Revision of UUK guidelines on appointments of Vice-Chancellors and senior staff

Universities UK, working with other sector organisations, proposes to update its management guidance on the appointment of senior managers in higher education. The output will consist of two, separate reports:

• management guidance to governing bodies regarding the recruitment, selection and appointment of heads of institutions
• management guidance to all those involved in the selection and appointment of senior managers in higher education.

A formal launch is intended in Autumn 2009.
