Project reference : LGMF-039
Lead institution : University of Winchester
The Framework Agreement provides a unique opportunity for institutions to undertake a strategic review of their reward structure in order to ensure that this reflects and supports institutional aims in relation to recruitment, retention and human resources management. Given the tight timescale for implementation however (August 2006), smaller institutions may be overwhelmed by the mechanics of the process and unable to take full advantage of the opportunity offered.
In a project disseminated through existing networks (SCOP, MASHEIN and AMHEC), human resources directors from HEIs who are at or near completion of their implementation of the Framework will act as mentors to partner institutions. This will provide customised and detailed support to partner institutions appropriate to their specific needs, to optimise the benefits that can be derived from the Framework Agreement.
Total funding : £74,700
