Building the capability to realise the transformational power of IT for higher education

Project reference : LGMF-198

Lead institution : University of Newcastle

This project, which ran during 2010, aimed to develop capability among leaders to deal with the opportunities presented by Information Technology (IT).

It was intended to produce practical resources to help individuals and organisations to develop their ability to use IT in a transforming way. The resources included a management 'toolkit' for IT-enabled transformation, case studies and a web-site.

The project draws on existing good practice to focus on testing out a practical, workshop-based process for enabling individuals and teams to use the tools.

Total funding : £73,000
