Improving data and processes

The project aims to produce a complete ‘dashboard’ of measures of greater scope than a traditional balanced scorecard that:

• predicts the performance of an institution:
• quantify its outcomes.

Predictors of performance enable preventative action, leading to savings, increased effectiveness, and improved internal and external confidence in the institution.

A by-product of the outcome measures would be to satisfy the data demands of organisations such as the QAA, HEFCE, HESA and others more accurately than at present. The measures would exceed the data requirements of the Cooke report.
