Heath and safety management systems: specification, auditing and benchmarking using 'HASMAP'

The project, which was completed in 2010, developed a specification for a health and safety (H&S) management system for higher education and it organised a programme to develop competence in the sector's H&S practitioners for auditing against standards, generating action plans and facilitating benchmarking.

In addition an electronic version of the auditor recording forms was developed, which streamlined the administrative process of carrying out an audit.
