Interactive tools for NVQ and procurement training

Lead institution : North West Universities' Purchasing Consortium (NWUPC)

This project will:

  • enhance the effectiveness and increase the uptake of the NWUPC NVQ training programme as per NWUPC procurement management development programme (GMP-045)
  • develop a continuous professional development programme available to staff with purchasing duties
  • enable institutional Purchasing Officers to undertake mentoring and training of staff involved in departmental purchasing by providing training for trainers
  • develop interactive training materials, CDs, Web Based downloads and individually personalised tools on best practice in purchasing for staff involved in HE purchasing. In co-operation with other regional HE Purchasing Consortia and other national purchasing bodies make such materials available nationally.
