Researching and developing a framework for the evaluation of academic and support staff learning and development in higher education

This project, which was completed in 2011, developed a toolkit for evaluating the learning and development activity of academic and professional staff in HE.

A framework of flexible evaluation tools were developed to determine the value of staff development initiatives at the individual, functional and corporate levels. This framework is intended to evaluate return on investment for universities and colleges.

Best practice across public and private sectors informed the toolkit.
