Learning in Future Environments

This project was established in 2008 as 'Universities that Count', a benchmarking programme for the Higher Education Sector. It used Business in the Community’s authoritative Corporate Responsibility Index.

The index demonstrated partner HEIs' progress on Corporate Responsibility (CR) and Sustainable Development (SD), showing how they manage the environmental impact of their facilities and how they contribute to the development of their students’ values and actions. The project was relaunched as ‘Learning in Future Environments’ (LiFE) in 2011 and HEFCE support will continue until 2012.
