Midnight Oil

The 'Midnight Oil' project will assess usage patterns of four 24-hour buildings at the University of Oxford to find out more about how they are used at night.

The results of the study will inform:

  • changes to overnight zoning and controls
  • reducing carbon emissions
  • a case study and toolkit for use by other universities.

The project which is funded under the Leading Sustainable Development in HE initiative, will run from September 2010 to July 2012.
