Sustainability Exchange

To facilitate the development and sharing of good practice on sustainable development Staffordshire University, in partnership with the Environmental Association for Universities and Colleges, will develop and implement an interactive web-based HE repository of technical guidance and case studies.

The Sustainability Exchange will embrace Web 2.0 technology and will use emerging and innovative ways to reflect the changes in how we now work, learn and teach. These will include:

  • e-learning
  • webinars
  • downloads
  • online continuing professional development
  • podcasts
  • videos
  • 'ask the expert'
  • process development (for example, protocols, policies procedures,) through document exchange and expert advice, or collaborative development through case studies, webinars, videos, and teleconferences
  • other interactive mediums.

The project, which is funded under the Leading Sustainable Development in HE initiative, will run from December 2010 to December 2012.
