We have provided funding for the development of the HEAR, along with the other UK funding bodies.
The HEAR was launched to the sector in October 2012 along with the publication of the report, 'Bringing it all together: introducing the HEAR'.
The HEAR is designed to encourage a more sophisticated approach to recording student achievement. It acknowledges the full range of opportunities that higher education institutions in the UK offer their students.
It will allow students to showcase their achievements to employers and postgraduate tutors. It can also be used to help students develop during their time in higher education.
The HEAR represents the UK’s student-centred and quality-focused higher education culture, and will bring a wide range of benefits to students, employers and higher education institutions.
For more information about the HEAR, contact the Higher Education Academy firstname.lastname@example.org, tel 01904 717500.
