‘Introduction to HEFCE’ event for FECs new to a direct funding relationship with HEFCE in 2012-13
We will be providing direct funding to 65 further education colleges that we did not fund in 2011-12. This happened as a result of the bidding exercise for a share from the ‘margin’ of up to 20,000 places for 2012-13.
On the 7 March we published the outcome of this allocation.
On 25 April senior managers from these colleges attended our conference ‘Introduction to HEFCE', which focused on funding and student number controls for 2012-13, public information, data and quality assurance.
