This section profiles funded activities in the area of widening participation that are no longer current, but which continue to have relevance or lasting influence.

In the course of our work to widen participation in higher education, we have developed several programmes and funding initiatives that have now drawn to a close. Such programmes include the Aimhigher programme and Lifelong Learning Networks.

Though these activities are no longer funded we continue to ensure their legacy, and that the lessons learned are available to inform future approaches to outreach and progression activity.
