Funded Lifelong Learning Networks
Since 2004 HEFCE has provided funding to support 30 Lifelong Learning Networks (LLNs). Details of these LLNs are available below.
This list outlines LLN partner institutions, funding details, contact details, and summaries of key aims and objectives. Generic partners of LLNs not listed for each profile, include Aimhigher, Regional Development Agencies, Regional Skills Partnerships, Sector Skills Councils, Local Learning and Skills Council, and Connexions.
In improving vocational and workplace progression, each of the LLNs will focus on particular areas or sectors (such as engineering, hospitality). In the main these align with skills areas identified as being of regional importance. The download below shows LLNs and their main subject areas.
