Summary
The central aim of the West London Lifelong Learning Network is to develop additional activities, relationships and provision that increase the number of vocational learners achieving higher level qualifications, meet the needs of employers, contribute to the prosperity of West London, and promote a culture of lifelong learning within the subregion. This aim will be realised through a number of objectives which have been determined through an assessment of the national and specific regional factors.
The principal delivery mechanism for achieving the West London LLN's objectives will be three differently focused hubs. These will be based on:
- Heathrow
- Health & Social Care
- Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics.
West London Lifelong Learning Network annual report to HEFCE
The first West London Lifelong Learning Network annual report to HEFCE is now available. The report covers the first year of operations from November 2006 to October 2007.
