Impact assessment is a process that helps us ensure our policies, initiatives and projects are fit for purpose, inclusive, contribute to an equitable society and comply with legislation and public commitments.  It helps us demonstrate ‘due regard’ for the public sector equality duty under the Equality Act 2010.
